Notice to Water Customers: Hard Freeze Warning

Attention Water Customer

HARD FREEZE WARNING!!!

Early morning Sunday and Monday (Feb. 1-2) our community is expecting a HARD FREEZE. This means temperatures will be at or below 28°F  for several hours each day. To avoid water outages we strongly encourage customers with above-ground meters to insulate exposed pipes and meters with blankets or other insulating materials.

We further recommend that you leave the water running slowly at one inside spigot/faucet overnight until about 9:00 a.m. each morning. This will further prevent water from freezing inside your pipes, which could cause them to split.
