NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Commission of the City of San Antonio, Florida will consider Ordinance No. 2017-05 regarding the city's street easement abandonment code at a public hearing to be held during the regular commission meeting scheduled:

TIME: 7:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard)

ORDINANCE NO. 2017-05

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF SAN ANTONIO FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR A SHORT TILE; PROVIDING FOR PURPOSES AND METHODS REGARDING VACATING STREETS, ALLEYS, SPECIAL PURPOSE EASEMENTS AND OTHER NON-FEE INTERESTS; PROVIDING FOR APPLICATION FORM; PROVIDING FOR APPLICATION FEES TO BE SET BY RESOLUTION; PROVIDING THE PROCEDURE FOR ABANDONMENT OF RIGHTS OF WAY; PROVIDING THE PROCEDURE FOR ABANDONMENT OF SPECIAL PURPOSE EASEMENTS AND OTHER NON-FEE INTERESTS; PROVIDING FOR ACTION BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON THE APPLICATION; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE AND POSTING OF NOTICE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN CODE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.


 

At such time, interested parties and citizens may appear to be heard with respect to the ordinance. The ordinance may be read and inspected at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue, San Antonio, Florida 33576.

All persons are advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person with a disability requiring reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this meeting should call the City Clerk at (352) 588-2127 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing.
