The City of San Antonio's solid waste collection contractor, Waste Pro (dba J.D. Parker & Sons), has implemented a 5.34% rate increase to cover Consumer Price Index-related costs, as permitted under its franchise agreement with the City. Regular trash pick-up and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, December 27th  and Saturday, January 3rd instead of Friday, December 26th and Friday, January 2nd per the J.D. Parker & Sons holiday schedule.
