HELPFUL HINTS

  • Set timers for no more than 20 minutes per zone on assigned watering day only

  • Make sure the rain sensor in your irrigation system is functioning properly

  • Check for leaks in your irrigation system

  • Make sure your sprinkler heads are functioning properly (no geysers, etc.)

  • Position sprinkler heads to water the grass, not your driveway, sidewalk, or street

NEW LAWN/RE-SOD RULES

  • On day of installation, watering is allowed at any time

  • During the first 30 days, watering is allowed any day during allowable hours

  • During second 30 days, watering is allowed three days per week

    • Even numbered address: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday

    • Odd numbered address: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

    • No discernable address: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday

  • After 60 days, watering is allowed one day per week (see table)
