Notice of Public Hearing - June 16th
Notice is given that the Commission of the City of San Antonio, Florida will consider approval of Ordinance No. 01-2020, regarding an amendment to the City’s sale and procurement policy, at a public hearing to be held during the regular commission meeting scheduled:
TIME: 7:30 P.M. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard)
DATE: Tuesday, June 16th, 2020
PLACE: City Hall, 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue
San Antonio, FL, 33576 (This meeting will be conducted via Zoom)
The title of the Ordinance is as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 01-2020
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO, FLORIDA PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2-219 OF THE CITY CODE RELATING TO EXCEPTIONS TO COMPETITIVE BIDDING TO ALLOW FLEXIBILITY IN SELECTION CONTRACTORS WHICH HAVE ALREADY BID SAME ITEM; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, INCLUSION IN THE CITY CODE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Interested persons can appear and be heard on this Ordinance at the Commission Meeting by attending the meeting and signing the request form. Copies of background materials, the complete proposed ordinance may be reviewed or obtained at the office of the City Clerk, 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue, San Antonio, FL, 33576 M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter discussed at any meeting or hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings for such purposes, and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based, per Florida Statute 286.0105. Verbatim transcripts are not furnished by the City.
