NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Commission of the City of San Antonio, Florida will consider Resolution 05-2017 extending a declaration of a State of Emergency for Hurricane Irma; the hearing will be held:

Resolution 05-2017

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO, FLORIDA (CITY), DECLARING A SECOND SEVEN (7) DAYS OF LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO LEAD COOPERATION WITH PASCO COUNTY OFFICIALS IN DEBRIS REMOVAL AND EXTEND THIS RESOLUTION IN SEVEN (7) DAY INCREMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 252.38(3)(A) FLORIDA STATUTES, AS NECESSARY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING AVAILABLE CITY COMMISSIONERS TO TAKE WHATEVER PRUDENT ACTIONS WHICH MAY BE NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY AND CUSTOMERS OF THE CITY’S UTILITIES SYSTEMS PURSUANT TO THIS DECLARATION; RATIFYING AND AFFIRMING SUCH ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE CITY COMMISSIONERS PRIOR TO THIS DECLARATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

At such time, interested parties and citizens may appear to be heard with respect to the resolution. The resolution may be read and inspected at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue, San Antonio, Florida 33576.

All persons are advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
